The Dental Nurse we seek understands that the patients' experience within the surgery is as much their responsibility as it is the Clinician and they will take all reasonable methods to ensure patient comfort. Every part of this dental nurses clinical support is carried out in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the 'Code of Ethics' of the British Association of Dental Nurses and the GDC requirements and recommendations. They are comfortable engaging with patients and family face to face within the practice and must be able to listen to any complaints that may arise and escalate to the right person if unable to fix themselves. This person's surgery is always prepared in the correct way for the next patient and the relevant treatment plan. Pride is take on the cleanliness of the surgery and the equipment used within it.

Permanent contract

Full time - Monday-Friday
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays: 07:45-17:00
Wednesdays: 07:45-19:00
Fridays: 07:45-14:00

Assisting Dentists/Hygienists/Therapists in Surgery
Patient care, chairside support
Supporting dental care delivery and working as part of a team to execute a first class service
Being the first point of contact for patients, booking appointments, answering the telephone, taking payments etc.
Working as part of a team to execute a first class service
Carrying out general administrative duties to ensure the effective running of the practice

Start date: ASAP but happy to wait for the right person
Salary competitive and negotiable dependent on experience

Able to work on their own initiative
The ability and personality to build a rapport with patients
GDC registration
Friendly, reliable and adaptable
Well presented with the initiative to work independently, to ensure the smooth running of the reception desk

Valid Immunisations (Hep B)
DBS (previously known as CRB)
Proof of right to work in the UK
